Gibbons celebrate 60th anniversary

March 6 marks Bob and Bobbi Gibbons’ 60th wedding anniversary. The couple will celebrate this event on June 20 at 12 p.m at the Lorimor Community Center. The event is to be hosted by the couple’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


The couple was married in Winterset in 1950. Bob farms and Bobbi is a domestic engineer. The couple has three sons: Dennis (Debbie) Gibbons of Murray, David (Jacki) Gibbons of Murray and Daniel (Jean) Gibbons of Creston. They have 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
