Encourages applications for CCH Auxiliary scholarships

For several years our Clarke County Hospital Auxiliary has awarded scholarships for students in the area wishing to further their education in the medical field.
For nearly five years we have been included in the CCH Annual Golf Tournament, which this year will be held on Friday, July 9. This has enabled us to award a $1,000 scholarship to three or four students in the Clarke County schools – Clarke and Murray school districts. Other residents of Clarke County are eligible to apply if they are pursuing a medical career.
We would like to encourage those who would like the apply. The applications will be available March 1 in the counselor’s offices of the Clarke and Murray schools and in the Clarke County Hospital Gift Shop. The deadline for submitting the applications is Monday, April 12.
When the recipients are announced, the Clarke and Murray school candidates will be presented their scholarships at their respective award nights in the spring. Others will be contacted by a letter from the Auxiliary.
