Couple weds in Waukee

On Nov. 7, 2009, Katie McCormick and Brandon Patterson were united in marriage at Saint Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee. Katie is the daughter of Jim and Pat McCormick of Dallas Center and Brandon is the son of Tom and Sharon Patterson of Osceola.

Katie graduated from Dowling High School in West Des Moines. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Loras College in Dubuque and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines. She is currently employed at Clarke County Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Surgery/Outpatient Clinic department.

Brandon graduated from Clarke Community High School in Osceola. He received an Associate of Arts degree at Southwestern Community College in Creston. He is currently employed by the City of Osceola as the Assistant Water Superintendent and enjoys farming and his cattle.
The couple resides on an acreage northwest of Osceola.
