Gerald McDaniel

Gerald Elijah McDaniel, son of William Z. McDaniel and Vesta (Evans) McDaniel, was born April 11, 1919, near Garden Grove and passed from this life on Sunday, Jan. 24, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Fla. at the age of 90 years.


“Mac” graduated from Weldon High School.  He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Mabel Marshall on Feb. 26, 1939, in Weldon, and two children, Gary and Marie, blessed this union. 


Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.
